“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving” (Col. 2:6-7).
We live in what could rightly be called “The Connected Period.” For decades now, our lives have revolved around connection - Wi-Fi, data, signals, and screens. Our phones, tablets, computers, televisions, and watches are always connected… and in many ways, we are connected to them. Yet here’s the sobering question: How many people today are connected - but disconnected?
- Connected to devices but not connected to God.
- Connected to networks but not connected to God’s work.
- Connected online but not connected to our spouse.
- Connected to content, but not connected to children, parents, or friends.
- Connected to entertainment, but not connected to the church, worship, or prayer.
We panic when the Wi-Fi drops. We grow frustrated when the signal is weak. But how often do we notice - or even care - when our connection with God is failing? Get and stay connected!
